From Dutch Roots to Global Watersports Innovation.
Founded in the Netherlands in 1980, Prolimit began with a simple mission: to design and build the most advanced watersports equipment for riders who demand performance and reliability. What started as a small Dutch brand quickly evolved into a global name in kiteboarding, windsurfing, and foiling. Through decades of dedication and craftsmanship, Prolimit earned a strong reputation for creating high-quality wetsuits, harnesses, and accessories that push the limits of comfort and durability. From cold North Sea sessions to tropical coastlines, the brand’s products became trusted by watersports enthusiasts worldwide.
More than 40 years later, Prolimit continues to lead the industry, combining technical expertise with the same passion that inspired its founding — delivering innovative gear for every rider and every condition.
Evolving with the Watersports Community.
The development of Prolimit has always been driven by innovation and a deep understanding of watersports. Since the 1980s, the brand has continuously refined its products to meet the needs of kiteboarders, windsurfers, and foil riders around the world. By collaborating closely with professional athletes and designers, Prolimit has introduced industry-first innovations across its line of wetsuits, harnesses, impact vests, and accessories. Testing takes place in some of the world’s most demanding environments — from the rugged South African coastline to the cold waters of the Netherlands — ensuring every product performs across all seasons.
Today, Prolimit stands as a benchmark for quality, performance, and comfort. Decades of development and passion have shaped a brand trusted by riders who seek gear that performs as hard as they do.
Innovation That Defines Performance.
At the heart of Prolimit lies a relentless pursuit of technological advancement. Every product reflects the brand’s mission to deliver cutting-edge watersports equipment that enhances performance, protection, and comfort. Prolimit’s wetsuits feature advanced neoprene materials, thermal linings, and precision panel designs for maximum flexibility and warmth. Its kiteboarding and windsurfing harnesses integrate ergonomic support systems that reduce pressure and increase control. From glued-and-blind-stitched seams to lightweight thermal fabrics, every detail is engineered for efficiency in the water.
The brand’s research and development team continually tests and refines new materials and construction methods, ensuring Prolimit technology remains ahead of the curve. Whether you’re chasing waves, wind, or freestyle tricks, Prolimit’s gear is built to keep you performing at your best — season after season.
